Read the top view first

The top view tells you which floor cells contain at least one cube. Eliminate any model with an extra or missing occupied cell.

Compare the front columns

The front view shows the tallest stack visible in each column. Check that height profile from left to right.

Account for hidden cubes

Only the tallest stack survives in a front projection, so shorter cubes behind it may be hidden. Always combine both views.

Start with distinctive clues

Find the tallest pillar, corner footprint, or isolated bump first, then verify smaller details. This is faster in Challenge and Master stages.

How do you play 3D Shadow Match?

Compare the tallest stack in each front-view column and the occupied cells in the top view, then choose the only 3D block model that matches both projections.

Can two views always determine a unique 3D shape?

Not in unrestricted geometry. This game therefore uses multiple-choice inference: the engine calculates every candidate projection and guarantees that exactly one option matches both supplied views.

How many levels are included?

There are 120 levels across Starter, Explorer, Challenge, and Master stages. Boards grow from 3×3 to 4×4, stacks rise from two to four cubes, and distractors become progressively more similar.

What do the front and top views show?

The top view shows which floor cells contain cubes but not their heights. The front view shows the tallest visible stack in each left-to-right column.

Is the Daily Challenge the same for everyone?

Yes. The current date creates a fixed level and model for that day, so everyone sees the same challenge. It changes the next day and needs no account.

Can I continue after a wrong answer?

Yes. A wrong choice adds one error without ending the level. Remove One can hide a distractor when you need a hint.

Do friend challenges require an account?

No. After solving a level, Invite Challenge opens the header share dialog with a URL containing the puzzle seed, time, and errors. Friends replay the identical puzzle.
