📘 Robot Pixel Painter Strategy Guide

1

Check direction first

The small arrow above the robot shows its heading. Locate the first target relative to the robot before deciding whether to turn.

2

Work color by color

Treat consecutive targets of one color as a small task, then switch the brush for the next segment to avoid color mistakes.

3

Fix the first error

After a failed run, trace from the start and change only the first command that turns wrong, crashes, or uses the wrong color.

4

Compress with Repeat

Use Repeat Previous for consecutive identical actions. Shorter programs are easier to inspect and stronger in friend challenges.

❓ Robot Pixel Painter FAQ

How do you play Robot Pixel Painter?

Read the colored targets and obstacles, choose a brush color, then arrange paint, move, turn, and repeat commands. The robot must match every target color without painting extra cells.

What age group is this game for?

It is designed mainly for ages 6–12. The first 30 levels use a small canvas and one color, while later stages add color changes, longer paths, and more obstacles.

Are the 120 levels repeatable?

Yes. Each numbered level uses a fixed seed, so it always produces the same puzzle. Canvas size, route length, colors, and obstacle density increase by stage.

What does Repeat Previous do?

It executes the previous effective command one more time. On a straight painted segment, one Paint & Move command followed by repeats can shorten the program.

How is the daily challenge generated?

The daily board and level are derived from the current date. Everyone receives the same challenge that day, and it changes automatically the next day.

Do shared challenges require an account?

No. After winning, Invite Challenge puts the board seed, command count, and completion time into the URL so a friend can play the same artwork.

Why can I not hear game sounds?

Browsers usually require a tap or click before audio can begin. Use any command to enable sound, and use the speaker button in the game header to mute or unmute it.
