What is the goal in Falling Blocks?＋
Move and rotate falling tetrominoes to create complete horizontal rows with no gaps. Each full row clears. Reach the level line target to win; the round ends if the stack blocks the spawn area.
How do the desktop and mobile controls work?＋
On desktop, use Left and Right to move, Up to rotate, Down for soft drop, Space for hard drop, and P to pause. On mobile, use the five controls below the board. Leaving the page automatically pauses play.
How do the 120 levels differ?＋
Levels 1–30 introduce the seven pieces at lower speeds, 31–60 accelerate, 61–90 add deterministic garbage rows, and 91–120 combine faster gravity, larger line targets, and more constrained openings.
Are the pieces completely random?＋
The game uses a seven-bag generator. Every bag contains I, J, L, O, S, T, and Z exactly once in shuffled order before the next bag begins, reducing unfair droughts.
How is the daily challenge fair?＋
The UTC date fixes the level, opening board, and seven-bag sequence. Everyone playing that date receives the same conditions and can compare time and score.
What does a shared challenge preserve?＋
The link stores the level and random seed, so a friend receives the same goal, garbage pattern, and piece order. A completed share also includes your lines and score in the message.
How can I stop the stack from growing?＋
Keep the surface flat, repair covered holes quickly, and plan with the next-piece preview. Avoid an excessively deep well while waiting for an I piece; open trapped low spaces first on advanced boards.
